«Alva» comes from the Swiss Jura Mountains, where she was captured on 7 March 2024. A few weeks later, she was released into the wild in the German Ore Mountains as part of the Relynx Saxony project. In autumn 20225, Alva was spotted with two cubs on a camera trap. This marked the first reproduction of lynxes in Saxony in 300 years.

Viorel is a wild lynx from the Romanian Carpathian Mountains that has been resettled in the Thuringian Forest. Viorel and Frieda are the first two reintroduced lynxes to roam the Thuringian Forest since mid-May. In the summer of 2025, it was suspected that Viorel had reproduced.
