Kilian
Kilian was released into the wild together with Vreni on 27 August 2024 in the Thuringian Forest. He was born in Nuremberg Zoo, Germany.

Vreni
Vreni was released into the wild in the Thuringian Forest on 27/08/2024. She was born in spring 2023 in the Swiss Langenberg Wildlife Park.

Anton
The lynx was released into the wild on 26 August 2024 as part of the Relynx Saxony project. He comes from a Belgian zoo.

Chapo
«Chapo» comes from the Nuremberg Zoo. He was originally intended for the breeding programme, but was then released into the wild in the German Harz Mountains on 11.07.2024 in the Relynx Saxony project due to his better suitability.

Alva
«Alva» comes from the Swiss Jura Mountains, where she was captured on 7 March 2024. A few weeks later, she was released into the wild in the German Ore Mountains as part of the Relynx Saxony project.

Frieda
Frieda was released into the wild in mid-May as part of the Luchs Thüringen project in the central Thuringian Forest. She was born, together with her brother Juno, in 2022 in the wild cat village of Hütscheroda.

Juno
In March 2024, «Juno», who was born in the wildcat village of Hütscheroda in 2022, was released into the wild in the RElynx Saxony project in the German Ore Mountains. He is a younger sibling of lynx «Finja».

Nova
In March 2024, the female lynx «Nova», who was born in Switzerland and is at least three years old, was released into the wild in the German Ore Mountains as part of the RElynx Saxony project.

Viorel
Viorel is a wild lynx from the Romanian Carpathian Mountains that has been resettled in the Thuringian Forest. Viorel and Frieda are the first two reintroduced lynxes to roam the Thuringian Forest since mid-May.

Finja
In December 2023, the female lynx «Finja» from a game reserve in «Thüringen», Germany, was released into the wild in Baden-Württemberg. A male lynx was already living in her new habitat. Unfortunately, Finja died of distemper in July 2024
